With many children currently interested in bees we wanted to extend their learning. We invited Sandy from The Honey Place in Urunga to come and share his knowledge about bees. Sandy used puppets and props to demonstrate how bees collect the pollen and nectar from the flowers and take it back to their hive. We learned many interesting facts about bees and how important they are in the environment. We thank Sandy who developed a program just for us around our learning needs.
