My Philosophy
As an educator and a mother I believe that through play children:
- Make sense of their world
- Develop and explore their own interest and ideas
- Develop curiosity, creativity and problem solving skills
- Build relationships, social skills & language
I believe that each child is a unique individual who needs a secure, caring & stimulating environment in which to grow emotionally, intellectually, physically & socially. For myself, teaching provides an opportunity for continual learning & growth.
It is my desire as an educator to instill a love of learning & to provide an environment that is safe, supports risk-taking and invites a sharing of ideas.
