My Philosophy
I believe that children are full of life, boundless in their energy and in their desire to learn through play and that each and every one has the potential to bring something unique and special to the world. I support that each child is a capable individual who needs a secure, caring, and stimulating environment in which to learn and grow, to meet their fullest potential in a safe space that supports risk-taking, and invites the sharing of thoughts and ideas.
Preschool is a time of “self-discovery”, as children explore emerging talents, interests, likes and dislikes, discovering who they are, so they can express their own opinions and nurture and follow their own ideas. I believe in cultural diversity and will celebrate the benefits of diversity with each individual child and enable them to understand, acknowledge and respect differences. I believe the secret to kindness is when it is modeled and taught with passion and purpose and I will support and encourage children to put kindness into action through thoughts, words, and deeds in an effort to help the world to be a more peaceful and gentler place to live where people learn to respect, accept, and embrace the differences between us.
