Our nature walks continue this term so that children experience our community and environment each day beyond our gate. Together we are learning about place, the interconnectedness of living things, our individual strengths and the sense of well-being that is achieved from immersion in nature.
Through this practice “Educators encourage children to develop appreciation of the natural world, understand our impact on the natural world, and the interdependence between people, animals, plants, lands and waters”.
